Long-term goals of the IWCSP

• Provide monthly stipends to inside members deemed to be indigent and without family and outside support

• Create a hotline incarcerated persons can call to report of instances of rape and other forms of abuse and sexual violence by prison staff. These reports will be disseminated to print/online media and human rights activists, attorneys, legal organizations, etc.

• Produce quarterly zine and newsletter titled “Womxn on Lockdown: How It Is With Them” to amplify the voices of women in prison and to assure their views and experiences become and remain central to all discussions and strategies which shape the organization and direction of the prison abolition movement.

• Create podcasts/documentaries of womxn released from prison recounting their experiences inside, how incarceration negatively affected their relationship with family and children, how and why prisons need to be reformed and/or abolished, etc.
